Jessica Carlson is American medical doctor, and former beauty pageant contestant from Oregon, who won the 2005 state pageant, and competed in the Miss USA pageant.
Carlson received her M.D. from Oregon Health & Science University in June 2011.[1] She previously earned a bachelor's degree in biology at Portland State University.[2] She sits on the Portland Metro Performing Arts board, and studied at the Central Oregon School of Ballet.[3]
Carlson won the Miss Oregon USA 2005 title in the state pageant held in Redmond, Oregon in late 2004. She had previously placed in the top ten in the Miss Oregon 2004 pageant the same year.
Carlson represented Oregon in the Miss USA 2005 pageant broadcast live from Baltimore, Maryland in April 2005. She did not place in the nationally televised pageant, which was won by Chelsea Cooley of North Carolina.
Carlson competed at the Miss Earth United States 2006 pageant where she won the Spirit Award.[4]
